Meet The Team

Professional Golfer, coach & Founder
David Woytowich
Born and raised in the outskirts of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, I was introduced to golf at a young age. My early years were spent playing at Holiday Park and later the Willows Golf & Country Club while attending university. Though I eventually pursued a career in Emergency Medical Services, working as a paramedic in northern Saskatchewan, I always found my way back to the game.
Throughout my twenties, I balanced my EMS career with golf. I worked full-time from spring to fall, then spent winters in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I taught youth golf at the Island Golf Academy. These seasonal shifts allowed me to keep growing as both a player and a coach, and they deepened my understanding of the game from many angles.
In 2018, after relocating to Ucluelet on Vancouver Island, I passed my PGA of Canada Professional Ability Test (PAT) and began my journey as an apprentice pro. During the off-season, I continued building experience by working as a caddie at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon; one of the most inspiring environments a golfer could ask for!
In 2020, I made the move to Kimberley, BC, drawn by the lifestyle, the golf culture, and the incredible Kootenay courses. This community has given me the perfect setting to both refine my own game and help others unlock theirs.
Most recently, I was invited to Scottsdale in Arizona to train at the PING HQ and have officially become the Kootenay tech rep for PING. This means I now have access to their full range of heads, shafts, and fitting tools, offering custom fittings designed to match your swing and help you play your best.
It’s been an exciting addition to my skill set, and I’m proud to bring that level of precision and expertise to the region.

Gregg Woytowich
Growing up with the rolling fields behind my childhood home as my first fairway, golf has been a lifelong passion. From a young age, I found joy in the game, often tagging along with my older brother David and making the most of his hand-me-down clubs. Those early days sparked a love for golf that has shaped my life and career.
Through university, I worked at several golf courses, balancing my studies with the need to support my golfing ambitions. These experiences not only helped me financially but also deepened my appreciation for the sport and the community it creates.
For the past 14 years, I have been a dedicated teacher, sharing my passion for golf with students and introducing countless kids to the game I love. Teaching has given me the unique privilege of blending my two greatest interests—education and golf—and inspiring the next generation of players.
Over the last four years at Kimberley Golf Course, I have been actively involved in developing local talent and fostering a welcoming golf community. My roles have included supporting the Jr. Ravens program, leading Ladies Ignite lessons, and coaching the Selkirk golf team. Each opportunity has reinforced my belief in the power of golf to bring people together and build confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships.
Balancing family life and the demands of being a dad, I have continued to dedicate myself to practice and improvement. This year, I am proud to have achieved my goal of becoming a professional golfer—a milestone that reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of my family and friends.
As I embark on this new chapter, I remain committed to learning, growing, and, above all, sharing my love for golf with others. Whether on the course, in the classroom, or at home, I look forward to inspiring more people to discover the joy and fulfillment that golf has brought to my life.
